Prophetic Protocols

All prophetic words that are given have God’s redemptive purposes in mind. 1 Corinthians 14:3 Buth the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

No words are to be given regarding dates, mates or babies. Ex. “You will find your soul-mate this year.” You will be pregnant by this June.

No words of correction or judgment. For example, the Lord is displeased with you because you sinned. We believe correction words are best given in the context of spiritual authority who is aware of the person's life and struggles and can assist the person in establishing good character.

We honor authority and encourage people to share prophetic words with their leaders.

We judge prophetic words. Not every word is from God and in scripture (1 Corinthians 14:29) it is clear that even words from Prophets should be judged. Therefore, participants are taught and encouraged to judge prophetic words.

We encourage feedback. We ask that everyone be open to giving and receiving feedback as a participant. We are all still learning so it's important to help the person grow.

We encourage full participation. We practice using the gifts of prophecy, words of knowledge, and discernment during our events. We ask that everyone participate even if you are uncomfortable or fearful. Don't worry if you fail, that is how you learn.
